The Rolex Datejust is one of the most iconic and most beloved Rolex watches ever made, even though the Datejust was launched in 1945 it has remained a timeless classic and is instantly recognizable as an item of refined quality and functional design. This specific 1967 Datejust Ref. 1601 retains its original grey "Pie Pan" dial and original white gold fluted bezel. SPECS

CASE & BRACELET

The lightly polished case has full and even lugs showing little to no wear. The white gold fluted bezel remains unpolished showing light wear from use. The Rolex 6251H rolled link Jubilee bracelet with 55 end pieces exhibits normal stretch for its age. 

DIAL & HANDS

This 1967 Datejust Ref. 1601 retains its original grey "Pie Pan" dial with stick markers. The tritium lume plots have taken on a wonderful yellow patina and remain perfectly round in texture, exhibiting no degradation under U.V. light inspection. The original tritium hands have aged slightly lighter than the dial and show no degradation when inspected under U.V. light. The metallic date wheel is an early service replacement.
