The Rolex Datejust is one of the most iconic and most beloved Rolex watches ever made. This 1969 Datejust ref. 1603 retains its original Grey "pie-pan" stick marker dial and is in excellent condition with its original Jubilee bracelet and white gold fluted bezel. This piece would make a great start for a new vintage collector, or be a great addition to an expanding collection. We love the early Rolex Datejust for its simplicity and its classic sophistication.

CASE & BRACELET

The wonderful case has been previously polished and retains full, symmetrical lugs that exhibit minimal signs of previous use. The stainless steel engine-turned bezel retains crisp finishing and shows only gentle signs of previous use. The watch comes supplied on a 2pc handmade leather strap. 

DIAL & HANDS

The original grey sunburst "pie-pan" dial is in very well-preserved and presentable condition, showing no damage and only gentle age. The tritium lume plots feature a lovely eggshell coloration, under U.V. light inspection only the 1 o'clock lume plot exhibits degradation while the rest of the plots remain fully intact. The original tritium hands match the dial perfectly with no degradation present under U.V. light inspection. The metallic date wheel is original with "open" 6's and 9's.
