Stylish pair of vintage amethyst, diamond & mother of pearl square earrings crafted in 14k yellow gold (circa 1980s).

Carved amethyst measures 14mm, mother of pearl measures 10mm x 5mm. Diamonds total an estimated 0.14 carats (estimated at G-H color and VS2-SI1 clarity). The stones are in very good condition and free of cracks or chips.

Amethyst is carved in a square patterned design in keeping with the shape of the earrings. The bold structured setting of the gemstones is a great example of 1980s era jewelry. A unique pair of earrings ideal for day or evening wear.

The earrings are in fair to good original condition and were recently professionally cleaned and polished.
