We are presenting this elegant and interesting timepiece! a vintage Movado Kingmatic HS 360 automatic Sub-Sea wristwatch, reference 405-706-601, dating back to the late 1960s or early 1970s. This watch is in "like-new" pre-owned condition and is fully functional.
Powered by the Movado Caliber 405 automatic movement, this self-winding watch features 28 jewels, a sweeping second hand, and a day/date function. The day can be adjusted by toggling between the 18–24-hour marks, and the date is quickly set using the quickset function. It offers a 40-hour power reserve and a high-precision rate of 36,000 vibrations per hour. Swiss made.
The original blue dial is beautifully designed with silver hour markers accented by luminous dots, a white minute/second track, and matching silver hands. The calendar window is positioned at 3 o'clock. The dial is signed with the Movado name/logo at the top and "Kingmatic HS 360" at the bottom.
The watch is housed in a 38mm cushion-shaped stainless-steel case with a screw-down case back, engraved with "Sub-Sea," signifying its water-resistant construction. It also retains its original signed crown.
This timepiece comes on the original Movado stainless steel bracelet, designed to fit wrists up to 7 inches (17.8cm).
After more than 55 years, this wristwatch remains in excellent condition, keeping accurate time and functioning smoothly.
