When Purple Amethyst is heated to temperatures between  470°C and 750°C, the color turns permanently to this soothing Minty Green. Although few people know about this delicately-hued sister of Purple Amethyst, many would venture to say that this February birthstone option is a more versatile version of it's plum relative.
